Among our key personnel, Foremost Contracting has over 100 years of cumulative experience in construction: foundation to the rooftop for commercial, military, and residential contracting, from renovations, to “design and build” from the ground up.
KEY PERSONNEL PROFILES
Anthony Piscione – President
Mr. Piscione has over 32 years of hands-on experience in the construction of institutional, industrial, and commercial facilities. He has a strong structural and foundation background, which enables him to successfully complete oftentimes complex new construction and renovation projects. Mr. Piscione oversees all office and field operations including corporate finances, personnel management, and business development. He works closely with clients and architects to ensure satisfaction throughout the entire construction process. Mr. Piscione closely manages all field personnel, vendors, and subcontractors to guarantee that all projects are completed on time and in accordance with the most impeccable standards of excellence.
Mr. Piscione’s leadership along with carefully selected key managerial and field personnel, sophisticated computerized construction management and accounting systems, and a reservoir of satisfied clients have all contributed to Foremost Contracting’s continued growth and profitability. Mr. Piscione was inducted into the 2004-05 Strathmore’s Who’s Who in America for his expertise in the field of commercial design and construction.
Margarita Bernardo – Office Manager/Assistant Project Manager
Mrs. Bernardo has been working in the construction industry for over 10 years facilitating the needs of the client, design team, and site personnel. She works directly with owners, architects/engineers, expediters and subcontractors tracking and coordinating drawings, submittals, and required forms/paperwork for the various city agencies, as well as assisting the construction team to the successful completion and close-out of the project.
Drew Schelker – Project Manager/Business Development
Mr.Schelker comes with more than ten years of business operations experience and a background that is heavily weighted in technology, finance, B2B sales, FM, and customer service. Having spent several years working in the field of FM with Google at CBRE in Zürich, Switzerland, Drew’s determination, energy, attitude, and overall commitment to the company and the customer remain a critical driving force in the continued success of Foremost Contracting & Building LLC.
John Maddaloni – Sr. Project Manager
Mr. Maddaloni has over 15 years of manufacturing, production, and management experience in the construction industry. He managed and oversaw the planning, implementation, and productivity of a large, high functioning, and successful commercial window and door manufacturing company before joining the Foremost Contracting and Building team. Mr. Maddaloni has extensive knowledge and experience in estimating, bid processing, sales, order processing, production, and project management. He enjoys working with different personalities and loves the daily challenges of the construction and building industry
Timothy Wallette – Superintendent
Mr. Wallette has over 30 years of experience in subgrade operations, concrete, and all types of masonry work. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in coordinating various trades, especially the support of excavation (SOE) and adjacent property protection. We would be willing to bet that Tim is one of the most professional, experienced, and versatile Superintendents out there today!
Anthony Nischo – Superintendent
Mr. Nischo has nearly 35 years of construction experience including out-of-the-ground to intricate finishes. Throughout his career, he has consistently built projects both accurately and on schedule. His Skillset with respect to managing site personnel/trades is second to none in the industry. He is known predominately for his out-of-the-box thinking and hands-on approach to solving complicated field issues.
Frank Purino – Superintendent
Mr. Purino has been with Foremost Contracting & Building for more than fifteen years now. With more than twenty-five years in the building industry, Frank is one of Foremost’s most valued employees. His sharp eye for detail and preeminent work ethic makes him indispensable.
Tyler Sartwell –Superintendent
Mr.Sartwell has more than twenty years of hands-on experience in the field, specializing in high-rise buildings and commercial construction. Tyler is known for his extreme organization and remarkable ability to deal effectively with the New York City Department of Building. He is highly versed in construction software, including Plangrid and Procore. Tyler spent more than two decades working in the Ironworkers union, leading a team of dozens of men. Tyler’s comprehension of all facets of construction is second to none. His impeccable work ethic and attitude make him a colossal asset to our team!
